Fair access for everyone on the block. You are welcome to use IAMNET for browsing, communication, learning, work, and banking. You may not use our network to attack other systems, run malicious bots, or disrupt fellow community members. Our technology runs on proprietary engineering and US Patent 12,418,806 B2, operated respectfully on African soil.

Airbrij Global Technology Partnership
IAMNET's mesh nodes and multi-path backhaul routing frameworks incorporate technology licensed from Airbrij (United States of America), protected under US Patent 12,418,806 B2 for adaptive backhaul routing, dynamic path optimization, and decentralized network-management software. IAMNET is the exclusive African operating infrastructure partner for Airbrij's patented architecture.
3. Network Acceptable Usage Policy (AUP)
This Acceptable Usage Policy applies to every subscriber, guest user, estate resident, and landlord connecting through an IAMNET SmartEdge node:
- Lawful Use Exclusively: The network may not be utilized to host, transmit, or propagate content that breaches South African or international criminal law, including but not limited to child sexual abuse material, incitement to violence, and human trafficking.
- Prohibition of Cyber Attacks: Subscribers are strictly prohibited from launching Denial of Service (DoS/DDoS) attacks, unauthorized port scanning, brute-force penetration attempts, or malware dissemination. Node telemetry automatically rate-limits and severs offending sessions in coordination with IAMSECURE defensive sensors.
- No Unauthorized Resale: Individual micro-bundle passes and ad-supported sessions are provisioned for personal, residential, or commercial end-use on the registered terminal. Reselling bandwidth via unauthorized sub-relays without written wholesale body corporate agreements is prohibited.
- Physical Infrastructure Integrity: Tampering with, opening, vandalizing, or redirecting solar panels, LiFePO4 batteries, or antennae on IAMNET monopoles is a criminal offense under South African critical infrastructure protection legislation.
4. Availability, Quality of Service (QoS) & Disclaimers
While IAMNET nodes feature 54-hour continuous battery autonomy and adaptive multi-path failover designed to withstand load shedding and regional cable breaks, wireless communications remain subject to atmospheric variance, third-party upstream satellite/cellular backhaul outages, and equipment maintenance:
- Access is provided on an "as available" basis without implied merchantability warranties for specific latency-critical financial trading applications.
- IAMNET reserves the right to apply transparent quality-of-service (QoS) traffic prioritization to guarantee fair bandwidth allocation for everyday community tasks across all concurrent users on a shared node.
5. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
This legal notice and any disputes arising from connectivity services are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. The parties submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the High Court of South Africa (Gauteng Division).
